Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actress. She has received many awards which include a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award in addition to along with five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is a member of the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was an actor when she was a kid and gained fame with her role as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a troubled childhood full of alcohol and drug addiction, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 90s, she starred in several films, including PoisonIvy Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was a co-star with Adam Sandler on a few films, including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended.
